Playtime at the Rastall Farm

Here's some photos that Nanna and Grandad Rastall have taken...
Tiptoe through the...daffodils? All rugged up wearing my big boy shoes.
Practicing my walking today (if you look closely at my top that Daddy bought me you can see it says 'Junior Turd Smuggler')
This is Dirty Merve comin' atch-ya! So many phones, so little time!

And the photo of the week is....
Helping my Grandad eat his birthday liquorice - Mummy had great fun getting it out of my clean white top after the sticky dribble ran all down my arms and neck (and I'm sure Grandad had fun getting the sticky fingers off the couch - it was his fault for giving it to me on there instead of in my chair). They all laughed so much at me, but I really, REALLY enjoyed it!

Mobile Phone Pictures

Here are the pictures from Mummy's phone she promised to upload. She's put them on here with the most recent ones first going back to the end of July. Sorry the quality isn't the best but she doesn't always have the normal camera on her. Nanna Rastall and Aunty Karen have some cute pictures of me too that they have to send to Mummy so she can put them on here too.

Quick update on me - I had my 12 month injections yesterday (I've had colds etc so I could go earlier) and I screamed and screamed, these ones really hurt. I was fine straight after them though and Nanna and Grandad Rastall made me feel better when I went to play with them afterwards. Nanna and Grandad Jensen are still in New Zealand - I'm missing them very much and look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks when they are home. I am really getting my confidence with walking now, the last two or three days I am attempting to walk most places on my own instead of crawling and I can turn directions when I am walking. When I get really excited I dirty merve and try to run (which usually results in a face plant into the carpet/floor boards). It won't be long and I think I'll ditch the crawling all together!
Hello? I can't see you...
Sitting out the front waiting for Daddy to come home from work
On your marks...
Get set...
What a cool dude!!!
Hello? Hello, is anyone there?
You expect me to move this?!!!
Parp, parp, here comes Daddy's work bag on my truck so I can push it inside
Bad idea to crawl under the bed - I got stuck and Mummy took a picture before she got me out!
I love playtime in my bed after I wake up
Who's at the door? Someone else I can play with?
Cuddles with Igglepiggle
Pretending I'm going nigh-nighs...
Believe it or not, these next 3 photos were taken on 3 consecutive mornings - I like to throw my toys on the floor when I wake up because it means someone will come in and play with me
Morning #2 - obviously been playing with my mobile today too
Hmm, notice most of the toys end up in exactly the same position? Do you think I have a routine of which ones go first?...
I like this game!
Peek-a-boo!
Does my butt look big in this?
I love going in the car
Oh my God, it's a puppy!
Can you please clean my eyeball Charlie? Good boy!
Oh, that's the spot that sends shivers down my spine!
Welcome to the Jensen Spa - just add farting baby
Princess Connor of Pakenham
Ha, ha, I look like a bin man!
Watching In The Night Garden with Tom (my massive monkey) on my Igglepiggle couch

Having a Wheelie good time

I can't believe how long birthdays go on for, I should have one every year! Here's some more pictures of me opening pressies - this time it was from Daddy's lovely friend from work Justin (his old boss) and his really nice wife Sharon. It was the coolest pressie ever - loads of Collingwood stuff, my favourite team!

There's also some pictures of me playing with my new toy storage that Mummy and Daddy bought for me, though I think my use is better than putting toys in. We've had great fun playing with it and Mummy puts me in it and pushes me around. I'm starting to walk around a lot more now, though most of the time I opt for crawling because it's quicker. I get really excited when people come to visit and have taken to squealing when I see people. I'm chattering all the time and love to 'read' my books that Mummy has put in the coffee table drawer so I can get them whenever I want. I spend most of my play time at the moment either with my books, driving my cars around the floor going 'vroom vroom', putting anything that even slightly resembles a phone to my ear saying 'har-row' (hello) and putting things away - Daddy thinks it's funny when he takes my MegaBlocks out to play that I think the game is putting them all back into the bag rather than building things!

I'm still sleeping REALLY well - most days I'm in bed by 6.30pm and don't bother Mummy and Daddy at all until at least 9am the next morning (I slept in til 11am one morning last week!). If I can get my ideal sleep in during the day if we're not too busy then I have two sleeps of a couple of hours each. I now have 8 teeth. Each morning I brush my teeth and hair myself (with a bit of help...), though sometimes I forget that the hairbrush is for my hair and I try to brush my teeth with it. I am really a very happy and well behaved little boy, but I do have one problem... Mummy and Daddy have started calling me PacMan - I eat EVERYTHING in sight! I love eating so much that I get really upset and cry when my food finishes! I just love fruit (especially bananas, strawberries, watermelon and mandarins), cheese, yoghurt, ANY veggies, toast, sultanas - you name it, I've probably eaten it. Apart from playing and watching In The Night Garden, eating really is my favourite thing to do! I'm between a size 0 and 1 now, but I am looking more in proportion now, not so much an orange on a toothpick with my big head.

I'm such a little character now and every day about an hour after I go to bed, Mummy and Daddy want me to hurry up and wake up so they can play with me. One of my latest things is to put my head down on peoples legs or chests if I'm having a cuddle (or even on my Igglepiggle bed) and go 'ahhhh' like I'm giving loves. I will do this pretty much any time when someone says to me 'go nigh-nighs'. When we go to the pool now I'm so cheeky, I wave at everyone (I even distract the old ladies while they are doing water aerobics and they wave back) and want to play with the big kids who race around but I'm just not big enough yet. I spend ages walking around in the kiddie pool between Mummy and Daddy, I'm really confident on my feet in the water.

Mummy's got loads more pictures from her mobile phone to put on here, but she'll try to do that in the next couple of days.

Pressies, Parties and a Little Pooh (and LOTS of cake too!)

So many pictures, not enough time to explain everything if this blog is ever going to get published! The first lot of photos are from when Grandad Rastall first got back from his holiday and I got pressies (yes, more pressies!). Thank you so much Great Aunty Elaine and Paul (or is that Great Paul?) for my birthday gifts, as you can see, I love them! Thank you also to Grandad for my gifts he brought for me, I think I'll let you go on holidays more often - just not for so long next time...

The bulk of these photos are at my big birthday party that I had on the 18th at the Pine Grove Hotel in Upper Beaconsfield. I had such a wonderful day! There were so many people that came to celebrate with me and I would like to thank EVERYONE for coming and for the lovely gifts, I really am such a very lucky little boy and have been extremely spoiled over the last few weeks (or is that the last year?!). Mummy has put the pictures that we have on here but we would love it if anyone has any good pictures of the day if they could email them through as we are missing some of all the people that came (and then we can upload them into here so we've got everyone). As you can see, I had great fun with my cake which Mummy made for me - she said that the Pooh only took about 9hrs to decorate... I think it looked cool and enjoyed eating it all very much.

The last pictures are of the Sunday after my birthday party when Mummy and Daddy took me to the Melbourne Zoo. We had such a great day, the weather was really fine apart from being a bit cool and I got to see so many animals! My favourites were the orangutans, we sat for ages watching them and then the big one came over to me at the window and stood right in front of me for about 10 seconds staring at me and I put my hands and head against the glass to try to get closer to him (Mummy and Daddy said this was the best part of the day as it was like I had a real connection with him).

What a great time I've had. My first year has gone so quickly, I wonder what the next year has in store for me...
